Explore the Vortex

Nowhere in the world is there such a concentration of power, beauty and grandeur. Sedona is the place where artists, shamans, visionaries and spiritual sages have come for eons of time to inspire and be inspired. Be clear on your intentions while visiting these red rock wonders and allow the magic to transform you on your next steps as you travel your spiritual path.

The psychic portion of the Sedona sabbatical explored the magical vortexs through many different tours, one with a former park ranger who explains as the energy of the vortexes.  “What is a Vortex?  by Dennis Andres, was a book we all shared as part of our experience.  On this vortex tour we felt the energy for ourselves through a meditative experience lying on the beautiful rocks in nature. The rocks tapped into an energy that seemed to speak of our purpose individually and as a group.

We had an insightful shamanic mystical tour where we experienced in a vision dream quest profound encounters with Spirit powers so familiar to our Native American ancestors.  In this journey we attuned to the spiritual wisdom that the shaman practices with the vortex energy.  A highlight of the week was the Sweat lodge, a cleansing of the mind, body and spirit.

There was also glimmering night sky tour with professional astronomers with high powered telescopes where we will view the rings of Saturn, moons of Jupiter and incredible celestial objects that influence our lives. It is no wonder that these celestial objects have so much influence on our daily lives and destiny.  Each star seemed to hold a precious message.

And the favorite was our nature spiritual tour led by a Native American studies teacher, Reiki master and spiritual intuitive.  She shared the history of the vortexes from the time of the Our American native people of today and days past and integrated her ability to intuitively see the aura that the vortex energies activated within each of us.  We learned the miracle of ourselves and received insight that we are integrating into our lives upon our return back home.

It is a must to experience Sedona’s healing spa’s where we spent the morning pampering ourselves at a holistic Red Rock Healing Arts Center. Through a deep, gentle or hot stone massage we consciously co-created our own personal spa retreat experience with one of the very best spa’s in Sedona where the massage therapists smoothed away all the muscle tension in our body.

We had plenty of time to experience the Artists at Tlaquepaque Arts Village, the co-op Art Market and the awe and variety of the many crystal cottages. Touring around on our own we played the indigenous music of the artist’s of Sedona as we drove around in our comfortable suburban we experienced the footsteps of our ancestors visiting the vibrant and colorful Southwest culture, scenery, cosmology of Montezuma’s Castle, the magnificent adventure climbing Schnebly Hill and the magic of Red Rock State Park. The beauty of the scenery took our breath away and the music of the land made our hearts sing.
